Doug's Day Diner
A locally owned downtown diner for breakfast and lunch where, in Doug's words, "darn near everything" is made from scratch, from biscuits and jams to sausages and pickles.
Breakfast runs to omelets, breakfast burritos, hotcakes and the house Papas; lunch is burgers, sandwiches and salads. Sauces, soups, hash browns, fries, chips, syrup and dressings are made in-house. It is closed most holidays, and the site offers online ordering and a waitlist.
